What To Do When You Are Alone For The Holidays

During the holidays, many of us feel lonely, and need connection with others; at the same time, sometimes we’re disappointed that our relationships with family, friends, and community don’t meet this need.  Psychologist Dr. Margaret Paul proposes that giving our time, energy, empathy, and love in community can be immensely nourishing, and suggests we shift our attention from what we would like to receive to what we have to give.
