No one who achieves success does so without the help of others. The wise and confident acknowledge this help with gratitude. — Alfred North Whitehead
Greetings!
![]()
This is the time of year for thanksgiving, and we at CIP have much to be thankful for.
CIP is many things to many people: a mental health clinic, a training facility for intern-therapists, a partner in services for at-risk individuals, and a source for ongoing professional and community education. In all our activities, we are deeply rooted in the community, playing an integral role in providing services and receiving support from individuals and organizations throughout Marin. This web of connection makes up the safety net we are able to provide to families, adults, and children seeking help and healing.
We in turn are grateful to our many supporters, collaborators, and those we serve for enabling us to help create a stronger, healthier community for us all. In this edition of News & Notes, we would like to share some of the comments we have received — from clients, intern-therapists, the organizations with whom we collaborate, and those who provide funding for our services.
In addition, we are pleased to extend an invitation for you, your family and friends to join us for a wonderful event, Loving Spoonfuls: Marin’s Soup and Dessert Challenge. This fun and delicious fundraiser is sure to be a winner. See below for more information on this January 22 benefit.
Please accept our best wishes for a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.
I hope to hear from you with questions and comments. Contact: Robin Joy Berenson, PhD, MFT, Executive and Clinical Director, at 415-459-5999 x100 or email: rjberensoncip@aol.com.
