October 3 – 9, 2010, has been designated Mental Illness Awareness Week. It’s an unfortunate fact that millions of Americans each year suffer from symptoms of depression and other mental health conditions without even realizing it. The good news is that depression and many other mental health conditions are highly treatable, and quality, affordable help is widely available. The first step is learning more about it.
In honor of this national event, CIP will offer free mental health screenings throughout the month of October at our offices in downtown San Rafael. Additional therapy sessions are available on a sliding scale. Please phone (415) 459-5999 x 102 for more information.
